Both Louise and Emma were delighted to attend the book launch of Transforming Relationships in Forensic Psychological Practice, a timely and thought-provoking contribution to the field.

They are both proud to have contributed chapters to this publication, alongside a diverse group of practitioners and professionals working across forensic settings.

Louise wrote chapter 5, entitled 'Building and sustaining trusting relationships with children undergoing forensic evaluation and their caregivers'; Emma co-wrote chapter 8, entitled 'Working with people serving indeterminate sentences'.

The book places relationships at the centre of effective forensic practice, exploring themes such as trust, boundaries, collaboration and care. It draws on clinical experience, research and lived perspectives to reflect on how relational approaches can shape meaningful and ethical work with individuals and systems.

The launch event brought together contributors and colleagues for discussion, reflection and shared learning. It was a valuable opportunity to connect with others in the field and consider how this work can continue to inform and develop practice.

They are both delighted to be part of a publication that highlights the importance of relationships in forensic psychology and supports ongoing thinking about how we work in complex systems.
